The Flemish Land Agency (VLM), member of several European and international networks and also partner in various Interreg projects, organises its international conference Green Work(s)! on 12 and 13 October 2010 in Bruges. The general theme of the conference is the development of open space in peri-urban areas and the value of green investments, with a specific focus on biodiversity.
Several local, regional and international partners and organisations will cooperate in the organisation of the conference, and share their knowledge through workshops, lectures and excursions. The various excursions, lectures and excursions are approached from a social, economic, ecological, planning or place-keeping point of view.
The various participating European projects and networks, VALUE, MP4, Urban Habitats, Solabio, Eco², Farland and ELN-FAB will share their knowledge through workshops, lectures and excursions. This conference is organised within the framework of the Belgian Presidency of the European Council and in close collaboration with various European projects. Registration is open until 1 October 2010.
